The four pass through zones make it easy to get in and out of Hopper without having to lift your leg over the bench or disturb your table companions. Its slanted legs and tabletop edges are a clear reference to the hop poles that are so characteristic of the Westhoek region. If you turn around, you can use the tabletop as a comfortable backrest.

Hopper, the modern picnic table with benches, is available in four sizes, seating four, six, eight, or ten people. Choose Galvanized steel legs for extreme durability, or powder-coated aluminium table legs for a more refined look.Î ¾

Download the technical sheet for more information on the Hopper Picnic Table.

Iroko:
Iroko is an African species of tropical hardwood. The high quality allows Extremis to make wide table top segments out of one piece of wood. The colour and characteristics of the wood are similar to teak.

Hellwood:
Extremis Hellwood has been treated with unique preservation that gives the fibres greater internal stability and increases their resistance to rotting. It's also resistant to UV rays, rain and acid rain, fluctuating humidity levels, frost, extreme heat, etc. Hellwood belongs in Durability Class I. An attractive side-effect of the process is the wood's dark colouring.

Choose Wisely
Just like other types of wood, Iroko and Hellwood will gradually become rougher and start to turn grey as a consequence of exposure to the sun and rain. Small cracks and crevices can also appear as part of this process. We strongly advise everyone to treat the furniture with our Wood Protector. This 100% natural oil controls the moisture level within the wood, which makes the planks stay stable for longer, and the layer of oil also helps to prevent spilled liquids from being absorbed, so that stains tend to stay superficial. It is best to repeat this treatment at regular intervals.

Extremis
Iroko Hardwood / Galvanized Steel / Hopper 240 (6 People): 93.7" L x 64.1" W x
