Winner of the prestigious 2023 Best of Year Award in residential lounge seating by Interior Design, this extraordinary piece merges innovative design with unparalleled comfort.

Inspired by the massive naval knots used to secure ships in port, Zupanc reimagined this utilitarian element into a statement piece for contemporary interiors. The oversized silhouette features extra-large "yarn" that mimics ship ropes, meticulously upholstered in premium knitted fabric and quilted in an elegant diamond pattern. Available in 15 sophisticated colorways, this sculptural lounge chair offers versatility for various interior design schemes—from minimalist modern to eclectic maximalist spaces.

What distinguishes the Knitty Lounge Chair is its remarkable chunky basket weave pattern that creates a unique tactile experience. The generous proportions invite you to sink into its embrace, making it the perfect sanctuary for reading, contemplation, or conversation in your living room, home library, or primary bedroom retreat. The chair's substantial presence creates a focal point that anchors the room while offering a haven of comfort.

Nika Zupanc, often described as a "glamour rebel" in the design world, is renowned for challenging conventions in the predominantly male furniture design industry. Where others emphasize technical and utilitarian aspects, Zupanc infuses her creations with intuition, emotion, and a distinctly feminine perspective. The Knitty Lounge Chair exemplifies her signature approach of transforming ordinary materials and concepts into extraordinary functional art through unexpected scaling and material combinations.

The chair's sturdy base provides stability while the voluminous woven structure offers a sense of being cradled in luxury. Perfect for design collectors seeking statement pieces with provenance and discerning homeowners who prioritize both aesthetics and comfort, the Knitty Lounge Chair represents the pinnacle of contemporary designer furniture—where form meets function in perfect harmony.

Experience the transformative power of exceptional design with this iconic lounge chair that stands as a testament to Zupanc's visionary approach to furniture as both practical object and artistic expression.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1520/8686/files/Knitty-Lounge-Chair-front-angle-Mosaic-2-0532.jpg?v=1787814691
